the James Gang concert on Friday was really awesome, if not a bit short...80 minutes. i would've expected at least ten more minutes of music. oh well. at least we didn't get the $85 tix (ours were $62) because i'd be ranting about the short length of the show ;)
here's the review...
in addition to the group's tight performance, we were treated to watching the full moon rise over the horizon at 9:35. THAT was very cool. i had never witnessed that at Red Rocks. usually, i'd try to be in the first ten rows in order to see the band members w/o needing binoculars. so...having seats in the 41st row wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be.

I'll always remember the lightning show during Slayer...made the show that much better!!!
