humph...

got the car out of the shop today. had a broken rear engine mount replaced and the base idle adjusted...for $390! i couldn't afford getting the springs and brake master replaced, which would probably set me back another $500 total. fu-uck. i guess i shouldn't complain because the car has needed very little work over the last five years. and after 135K miles, things tend to wear out anyway. but still, it's not like i had a spare $900 lying around...grrrr.
