we're going to Dallas next weekend to see Lois' sister and husband before they embark on a five month RV trip through western Canada and Alaska. we wanted to go this weekend (since they're having a huge BBQ), but no one was gonna put their fares on sale for the end of spring break...that's for sure.
so, instead of forking out $400 for fares this weekend, we got some specials for next saturday on United for $148 each.
btw, American just started a sale to Puerto Rico. Denver to San Juan for $225. that's a helluva deal considering that fare is usually around $500. in fact, lois and i paid around $600 when we went six years ago...
