Denny suggested that i look into junkyards for car parts, which is a very good idea. however, it's not necessarily the price of new parts that gets me...it's the cost of labor. unlike some powerlinemen, i'm not mechanically savvy when it comes to an automobile (other than keeping fluids full, tire air pressure, and changing the air filter)...some things are left to a professional. at least if i had a big enough garage and an industrial jack, i'd ask my friend, Justin (who used to build race cars), to teach me a few things.
