sigh...

looks like all nine Cub Foods locations in Colorado are going to be shut down by mid-november. Kroger (King Sooper's parent company) is going to buy four of them and slap the royal name on 'em... in fact, the Cub (on Cherry and Leetsdale) by my house is one of those candidates. thing is, there's another King Sooper's a mile further down Leetsdale...that's gonna be strange.

boo hiss...i don't want another King Sooper's. i liked some of the deals that Cub has. besides, Cub has a better marked down/seasonal/discontinued items area...and bigger too. ah well, the big fish are always gonna eat the smaller fish. too bad that they poop bigger as well...

oh yeah, Cub just installed a great ethnic aisle with super Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and Middle Eastern stuff! i guess this means going to separate stores again...grrr. or that just means i have a month to stock up, eh :)
